About this app
Looking up at the night sky and seeing the International Space Station (ISS) glide overhead is a breathtaking experience. With ISS Detector, you can easily track and locate the ISS using just your smartphone.
The ISS tracker app for all mobile platforms can help you to see the ISS.
ISS Detector notifies you a few minutes before the ISS is due to pass overhead, ensuring you never miss the chance to see it. The app also checks for clear weather conditions, so you can have the best possible viewing experience.
But that's not all - with in-app purchases, you can enhance the functionality of ISS Detector even further. The Radio Amateur Satellites extension lets you track dozens of ham and weather satellites, complete with transmitter information and real-time Doppler frequencies. The Starlink and Famous Objects extension allows you to track famous objects like SpaceX's Starlink satellite trains, the Hubble Space Telescope, rocket bodies, and other bright satellites.
Finally, the Comets and Planets extension lets you track all planets and comets as they become visible in the night sky. Whether you're a space enthusiast or just looking for a unique and awe-inspiring experience, ISS Detector is the perfect app for discovering the wonders of the cosmos.

Fantastic app. Far above and beyond all other satellite tracking apps. You can watch ads to access Pro Features for a few days, I will be buying the Pro Version for sure. You can track many satellites not just the ISS. If you're using it to hear them on the radio, make sure to un-check the "visible passes only" option so it will alert you EVERY time its in range. I can't overstate how much I love this app!! Get it!!

I used to love this app. I bought all of the extension so I could see everything. Recently, notifications have stopped working and when I open it it is only showing the ISS. I need to refresh it to see all of the extensions I paid for. The extensions then work for maybe one more day, then they stop. It seems to have started after the most recent update. I have sent emails, but no response. Sure wish you would fix this issue.

I finally looked into the short easy training. Now that i understand that it all means, i know exactly where to look for the ISSor what ever else i am interested in. Stuff i never knew about before this app. I actually pulled out my cell phone and took a few photos, hoping for at least a dot. Imagine my excitement when i saw a dot, zoomed in and actually have a photo of the iss even with the solar wings and all! I look up every time the sky is clear and some thats not so clear, nust to be sure.

Absolutely great app!! Easy and fun to use. The app let me know exactly when the Space Station was overhead, and there it was easily observable at 9:22 PM, 250 miles up and supposedly moving at 17,000 miles/hr. We watched it for 3 minutes until it disappeared into the night side of the earth. Great shots from the ISS as well. My family loved it and all wanted the app. Thank you to the developers!

When my notification alarm goes off, the list only shows the next visible pass, not the one that is about to happen. The notification today only showed the track data/ pass for tomorrow, not the one for today. My alarm is set for 15 minute warning. What is going on? EDIT: The developer contacted me in only 1 day. Great support! Suggested that I change the Threshold magnitude from "all" to a different setting. I set it to -2 and it fixed it. Thanks for the help!

I recently purchased the full add-on package (Combo Pack) to be able to track other objects (i.e. Starlink satellites). It worked for about a week and now only shows me the ISS. And yes, the Starlink service is enabled (switched ON). Update: I have both set location manually and restarted my phone without success. 2nd Update: I was able to get it running properly by clearing the app cache and restarting the app. I hope this is not something I will have to do often, but is good to know how.
