About this app
Finally a beautiful and simple way to view tides on your mobile device! In addition to worldwide tidal estimates, you can see the lunar data, weather forecast, and current radar making your next outdoor adventure as easy to plan as possible.
By default, the application will pick the closest station to you, but picking a different station is as easy as viewing a map of your current location. You can also setup and quickly switch between many stored favorite stations if you need to.
No internet access while outdoors? No problem. This app has been designed to give you tidal and lunar predictions without internet access!
The first time you launch this application may take up to 3 minutes to start while it generates textures.

This app has a LOT more "stations" than other apps. You can get info that's really close to where you'll actually be. I also like the graphic representation of the tides. Other apps have graphics like this, but with this app you can look back in time as well as forward, so your not stuck with the time bar on the left edge of the screen at midnight. Also, the clock is a twelve hour clock, which I prefer. What's 17:37 anyway?

Generally, I have no problem with apps that have ads. Developers should get paid. But when ads blast audio at full volume with no way to stop the for 5 seconds, its more like extortion trying to get people to pay for the ad free version. Screw that, there are plenty other good tide apps that don't abuse users. "Tide Chart FREE" (note that "Chart" is singular whereas this app's name is plural) is a good one. "Tides Near Me" is another.

The app is good, but the ads are horrible. Not sure what activates them, but I was just looking around the app to see what it has to offer and in the 15 minutes I was fiddling with it, had about 5 ads pop up including a video ad that was on a 20 second timer so I couldn't get rid of it. Banner ads I get but full screen prevent you from using the app ads are the pits.

i really like app, and particularly for planning swimming holidays several months in advance. I like it's clarity and simplicity, with the option of viewing tidal ranges by vertical scrolling. Ads have become a bit more annoying, so i'm looking to see of it's affordable; subscriptions can add up

Apps that have ads are one thing. this app looked good for about 5 seconds, then a pop-up ad took over the app and I was unable to find my way back to the app. Just to be clear, the app's name is "Tide Charts" and I will have nothing else to do with it (uninstalled).

2 out of 3 modules don't work, the app says that they are loading but the server doesn't respond. Nothing ever happens and support doesn't offer a solution. I wouldn't buy it again. The tide chart is great. However, no connection to weather or wind. The app got an update after my review. All modules are working for me now. The Tide chart is very clear.
