The BioLife in Denton is wonderful, everyone is so nice. My 2 star rating is for the app. It's constantly glitching, closing, and having all kinds of issues. The idea of the app is very convenient but it only works maybe 50% of the time. EDIT: 6 years later and this review still holds true so going to 1 star. I can't even log in. y'all want a verification code for my email but restart the app if I leave to check my email. or it just force closes. ITS BEEN YEARS!!! FIX THIS!

The app itself is fine, does what it needs to do. has issues on occasion force closing and what not but all in all alright. biolife as a company is the issue, mainly the debit cards. I donated yesterday evening and here the following morning I've still not been paid. apparently the whole system crashed. finally after a 30 min hold and wading through the bs to finally find a number, and that automated nonsense. was told id be paid by mid ight that night at the latest. never happened.

Basically, the same experiences as many of the other reviews. As a company, I think the employees are really trying to make it as comfortable and efficient as possible, and I really appreciate that; however, the app is absolutely pathetic. The app is slow, crashes, it's sometimes difficult to set an appointment or to cancel/reschedule one; it says you didn't set an appointment, and although I have alway been paid, sometimes it's not immediately. Please fix app., then, I would increase to 5 star✨

App is good, customer service stinks. The center I used never calls back and doesn't answer the phone, not even the medical line. Apparently, they want you to drive in to tell you your ineligible, even though they call and leave a basic message for you to call them regarding your donor status or you have to answer if they call. Fortunately, I found a different company's center closer to me. The employees at the center who process you are wonderful but can't tolerate the lack of communication.

absolutely awful. too few branches. everytime i show up to my appointment & sign in there's some sort of "deferral" that takes about an hour or so to fix & then the next time i go its there again. i can never just go in & out in 30-45min. & all the staff are so uncoordinated. theres like 3-4 teams doing different stuff & they don't communicate with eachother. DO NOT COME HERE THEY WILL WASTE YOUR TIME & PHYSICAL ENERGY!!!

First off, Biolife has always been amazing. Great place to donate. My 1 star rating is because I went to use my card and it has a zero balance even though I still had funds on the card. The card even says on it "funds do not expire". Apparently there is a loophole to this. If you do not use the funds , they will charge monthly fees until your funds are gone. I went back and looked at my purchase history and monthly fees were deducted from the card.
