the app is absolutely terrible. The wait time is rarely accurate and sometimes when you check in on the app to get your name on the list it wont register at the store so when you show up your names not on the list and you cant get your hair cut. I love getting my hair cut there but dont waste your time with the app, just call in.

Brutal app, impossible to plan your day around this booking system. Also as an aside the company revoked their loyalty program 2 years back and never replaced it with anything.

I enjoy my haircuts at Tommy Gun's but app is terrible and never works. always have to call. please fix the app

Shows you the current wait time, but once you've "checked in" it doesn't give you a count down or any notifications (though it says it will do both). And it turns out sometimes your check in doesn't work, as I just showed up an hour after checking in (it said 1hr 20min wait to be told I wasn't on their list and they were full for the day.

In theory, the app allows you to save a spot in line. In reality, if you're not there when your spot becomes available (often way earlier than the app predicts), it will be given to someone else, which happens to me almost every time. Then I end up waiting there for 30-60 minutes to get in. This app is supposed to be an improvement over the traditional appointment system but it's a total failure.

I tried booking ahead of time for a particular hairdresser. The app said 23 minutes, I arrived close to 23 minutes on the dot and the shop system showed 29 minutes from the time I arrived. This isn't very helpful at all. I was getting a photoshoot done and was hoping to use my favourite hairdresser at that location. Figured checking in ahead of time would have helped... but then I was told I'd have to wait another half an hour. The app is also incredibly buggy.
