I want to like/sign up to this app to follow vsinger art accounts, however since I am not in China and don't have a Chinese number, I can't call the number required to access the verification code. It would be a lot easier if there was a text option like Bilibili, but it seems that for now it isn't possible, and my country isn't an option to sign up through the website either, and it also blocked my email. For those who don't suffer these issues, I'm sure this app is great.

The app itself is perfectly functional to browse weibo, but as others have mentioned, registering an account feels god awful. Getting the verification code from text proved impossible, either from the website or the app after several tries. What eventually worked was after pressing "get code", there was some red text under with some blue text "voice". Clicked on "voice" and there was a pop-up and got a toll-free call that recited my code for me. Hope this helps someone lol.

I can't even register. There's no nickname, because I'm trying to register in webio for months, but there's no way I can register easily. I'm tired of this, it's always says 'The mobile number does not match the selected country.' while it's correct. I don't know what to do anymore, even the WeChat and QR aren't letting me register. Please make sure, it's easy to register for international people.

I've tried signing up for more than 3 months, but I can't. Why can't you enable it to accept international phone numbers??? we would love to support our favourite artists. Please find a solution to this. I really wish you could help us 😔 I called the number I was given and got the code, but when I typed the code, I was told it's incorrect. Really????? Why make this app available around the world, but we can't sign up!

I've been using weibo for almost 3 years now, yet I have never had my own account. I have tried countless times with different methods to register for one, but none of them worked. I am writing this review in Hong Kong, and the number the app has instructed me to dial for my verification PIN does not work in my region. I don't know what to do. Reading other reviews on this app, it seems that I am not the only one affected here. Please get the login issue fixed as soon as possible!

I'm an international fan trying to follow my favorite singer & actor on weibo. I can't create an account because it's telling me to call a number that doesn't even exist. why can't I just get a SMS code sent to me like other app?? it's so frustrating and I can't register using the alternative login either. can you please fix it???.
