I'm not sure what happened as far as the update. Now, every time I try to use the remote feature on the app, it goes to downloads. I am only trying to use the remote feature for one of my rooms as the remote itself isn't working. The app has always worked fantastically to pull up the guide and change the channels. Now, I can go into the remote, select the hopper, or, in this case, the Joey I am on. Then it goes to downloads, and I have to close the app and start all over. Please fix this.

Update: Now an ad comes on the screen & won't leave. I'm fed up. It seems to work when it feels like it - about 50 % of the time! I did all the tips - rebooting, uninstalling apps, router, my phone, etc. I haven't changed anything! It's just sometimes it works - then it doesn't! Very unreliable and frustrating! I see a lot of unhappy reviews - some from quite awhile ago. Why isn't this being fixed??!!?? After thinking about it, the app should be named more appropriately - "Dish Nowhere".

I would give it 0 stars if I could. App is not working. I hear the sound, but cannot see the image. But their ads seem to be working fine with sound and picture. I email their support. and they are just giving me the runaround, saying to email them at this address or email sling at this other address. Just like when you call them for receiver(Hopper) support. Worst customer service. I gave it 2 stars because it was a setting on my phone. They still didn't help. I had to figure it out by myself.

Worst app ever on firestick and android. can't watch anything without the app constantly crashing or buffering. all the money I pay every month I should be able to use the app to watch a game when I'm not home. Just absolutely terrible and the worst part is dish doesn't seem to really care. if I could give it 0 stars I would.

I'm having issues with the dish anywhere mobile app. Everytime I try to stream anything, I only get sound and a black screen. I'm having the same issue with HBOMAX & PARAMOUNT+ but all my other mobile streaming apps work great. I like using the dish anywhere app most of all, that is, whenever I can actually get it to work (which isn't very often). please help me resolve this issue because it's football season!!

App doesn't work.. on my phone I can actually watch TV but my guide doesn't even have half my channels. No local channels, nothing is in numbered order, it's a mess.. on my firestick the guide looks like it would on my regular TV but will not play any show. It's been this way for a year.. I've tried to get tech support for a year and they just tell me they've been hacked... that was a year ago... still getting the same response.. pretty terrible app.. would be awesome if it actually worked.
