I've tried to go back to this game a few times, but I just can't. They work hard to create new characters, expand the story, but as a person who gives values to his money I can't go very far. They are doing everything to make you buy packages, spend money here and there to get good heroes. The best chance to get 5-star heroes was the training camp level 20. You spend a lot of resources to get 1 after 2 days. Now, there is a CHANCE to get 1. Frustrating... this USED to be a very good game...

I mean..... it's a bejeweled clone. It's nothing special. It's fun enough for a while, a good time killer. But it's all loot boxes. The game will give you the exact same heros over and over again even if you spend money. And the ones it gives you kinda suck. Tons of "special offers" and "deals" on things that are a very clear ripoff that won't give you what you want. And the more they add the less interested I am.

So, Dragon Dawn is a big upgrade to the classic Empires & Puzzles. It’s got the same match-3 puzzle core, but now there are dragons, new heroes, events, and a lot more layers to mess with. It looks great — the art and animations are top-notch, and the dragon designs are pretty slick. There’s a ton to do, maybe even too much sometimes. The gameplay loop is still fun — matching tiles, chaining combos, and watching your heroes go nuts with their special moves never gets old.

fun game for match 3 but is a little dated. I think some of the match logic could be improved for more unique interactions, like matching a skull with a diamond. The new player experience is a little underwhelming given how long this game has been around. Not sure how they are going to encourage new players without gift codes and some decent catchup mechanisms. Otherwise I'm enjoying the modes, challenge, and guild activities.

The pluses: no ads unless u want to watch them for battle items, materials 4 building and/ or leveling, & summoning heroes. The visuals & animations r good & gameplay smooth w/out many glitches. Negatives: u can't get anywhere w/out all the items mentioned above & w/out spending A LOT of $$, u'll b playing 4 months b4 u r able to build up enough gems to get at least a 4-star hero, that's NEVER guaranteed. It's always a gamble. Until heroes r leveled way up, it takes FOREVER to progress.

some of us can't buy gems, we simply don't have the budget for it. I tried to save up gems to get those special summons, but I still get the weak and original 3 star heroes it's a waste of the amount of time I've spent on this game. I get that you need the money, but at least make it easier on those who don't have. allow us to earn and receive more gems so that we too can build a strong team like you have as the developer. increase in chance to get 5 star heroes would also help. good game though
