SoundCloud is a very good app for playing tons of different genres of music and many other tracks, and I'd recommend it above Spotify. The primary reason as to why I rated SoundCloud 4 stars is due to the fact how there's this phenomenon where when you go to your "Liked tracks" in the Library menu on the bottom of your screen, sometimes when I tap a specific song I want to play, it'll put on the song above or below it instead, and when I correct it by tapping my song, it'll play an ad. Annoying.

I love how there are sped up/ slowed down versions of songs. I've used SoundCloud for only a year now, but I much recommend this over Spotify. It sucks how it's not on Xbox, though! Its also a bit annoying when you have to pay for the premium subscription for certain songs. But otherwise, it's a perfect music streaming app! 110% recommend edit: having lyrics would be super cool! the one thing Spotify has that this doesn't 😓 otherwise still doing me well!

Unable to cancel subscription. SoundCloud says go to the app store and I find no subscription there. Seems like they're trying robbing people of their money, or make it very difficult to cancel. Once again, I can't find the subscription and it feels like it's intentional. Would not recommend getting a subscription, unless you want to get a new card to stop paying thieves, which I have to do now. Decent app, YT is better. Big L from soundcloud.

Pros: I've used this app for years happily. Any genre of music is available and there are amazing utilities to discover new music from relatively unknown artists. Great for digging for tracks. Cons: Lately, SoundCloud has focused so much on ads that it plays 1 minute of ads between every song. Most recently, whenever an ad plays, the app will not trigger the next song to play. With that issue, it is currently unusable and I am moving on to other apps until this is addressed.

The go subscription is good, you won't get absolutely every song but a decent amount, the app is less buggy than a year ago. The go+ subscription is just way too expensive to even be considered. However, the go subscription price is now 35% more than what it used to be which is hard to justify. It was totally worth it without question over other apps but now you can pay barely anything more on other apps and get a bigger library.

this is a very good music service pretty cheap and after purchasing it the most important thing -- never an ad. I found 99% of everything I've looked for and I listen to a lot of different types of rock metal country. I also listen to full albums rather than just ingest what's automatically served so I could see a problem for a user who doesn't know what they want to listen to because occasionally when I do let it choose it chooses music terribly. it's easy to use too. .
