The Bose SoundTouch speaker is remarkable. The Android software interface is a nightmare. While I found another application that said it could be used to connect my android cell to my Bose SoundTouch speaker, it's a paid service. No thank you. Why can't I put the Bose SoundTouch icon on my Android cell? I can sympathize with the fact, software setup for many, many Bose products is challenging. I struggle with how wildly frustrating my particular experience has been.

I've been a long time owner of Bose products going back to the late 80s I love the sound of Bose products, but there's software integrations have never quite been at the same quality as their sound. I have soundtouch systems set up in multiple homes, and at least once a year I have to factory reset everything and reconnect it. Bose you could do a lot better than what you've done with soundconnect

If you're down loading this app is too late, If you bought or were gifted one of these POS (Wave Sound touch). The sound is better than average for a compact unit, but the frustration involved in using one out weighs everything else. Comes with a useless USB port, advertised as having one so I expected I could plug my music HDD into it. Well guess again, it's there for future use! We had to buy a tablet to use the app with. You can only control it with 1 device. I'm sorry I bought this.

App is terrible. My 2 speakers lose connection frequently and the app can't find them to easily fix. Takes a long time to fix connection. My internet has 2G and 5G option. Sometimes completely shutting down the app helps, sometimes it doesn't. Usually I have to unpair the speakers every time too. Very frustrating and time consuming. Speakers sound good when I can get them to play. I regret buying these Bose speakers.

You will spend more time setting up. Syncing, Updating, Pairing. Unpairing, try again. Connecting, repeat ad nauseum. Even the remind me later repeats every minute. Then puts you in a loop to the play store and back to the app, then back to the play store. Have they never heard of K.I.S.S.? "Keep it simple stupid" For as much as the speakers cost, they should set themselves up and change diapers.

Works great the first time you connect to wifi, but if you ever change routers, that's it. You only get one chance. I have 4 soundtouch speakers that can only be used one at a time through bluetooth. Very disappointed that I spent so much money on these!!!!!!!! Update: I downloaded soundtouch for windows on my computer and installed them on the app using a USB cord. Now they work great. Don't waste you time using the app on a tablet or phone until you install them with a computer first.
