About this app
Hygrometer is a vintage relative humidity meter that measures atmospheric relative humidity.
It features direct reading in percents and also includes a digital display readout containing a dew point temperature calculation for the current weather conditions at your location.
NOTE: This app benefits from device with a humidity sensor. If the humidity sensor is not present in your device this app will load measured relative humidity by your local meteorological station using your location and a weather web service.
Outdoor humidity information is provided by the Meteorologisk institutt of Norway NRK weather web service accessible at Yr.no
Optional altitude information is provided by Open-Elevation web service accessible at open-elevation.com

This is literally a godsend. I have several acoustic guitars in my bedroom (nowhere else to keep them). The air can get dry quickly. The first year without a humidifier. Dry air is a musical instrument's worst enemy. This app will definitely come in handy.

App, widget, whatever. It works great for me. But hitting the app to open a full page, not able to keep open for quick look and easily move back forth is the real downer .

LIES! This application does NOT detect humidity! I tried an even newer phone and nothing. I'm busy... I'll try another and see how accurate it is. Thank you for replying.

Would not tell you, that there is no sensor built in; the only way to find out is to forbid location rights and switch off wlan.

This does not DETECT humidity. It just uses location to tell humidity like a weather app. It will not work without your location.
