The app is a cool resource to help plan your next ride. I like the simplicity of "I wanna ride 60 miles, include some twisties, and give me some fun sights, too." However the very basic functionality to Record your ride is behind a paywall. I want to hit the road, see where I end up, and have a nice map of the whole thing afterwards. But for whatever reason you need to pay for that. lame

Love the stats at the end of the ride. Would like to see a different color when the route overlaps, as it's hard to make the correct turns in unfamiliar areas when making a round trip. Autopause would be welcome also. Otherwise great experience.... A few hiccups with trying to send the route through some "no left turn" or "do not enter" spots, but mostly easy enough to re route away.

12 miles down a mountain road only to find it was closed and had been closed for some time. Calimoto's new closed route feature obviously doesn't work. Had to use Google maps (which had the road as closed) to get me out of the situation and find an alternative route, as the direction pointer on Calimoto stopped responding. Also, on some maps, the route looks like it has been drawn by a child with a crayon. A nightmare on tight twisty mountain roads.

This app was working, then the good ideas club got involved. Now you can't export rides. I had been exporting successfully to Google drive, then importing them to Enfields tripper navigation app. Now I get an error message. Seem others are having issues too. This latest version is not great.

The app is great, but since I have Android Auto on my bike and it’s not currently supported, I’m giving it 3 stars. Additionally, the GPX export is only approximate. When I import the routes into other apps that support Android Auto, the routes do not match exactly; they are merely approximated. This leads to interpretation and can result in generating a different route. They say they are working on support Android Auto but never gives any specifics. I love the app otherwise.

I would give Calimoto no stars but the review page will not let me! They clam to have a free version on their webpage but after down loading the app to my phone, creating a route or two, it would not navigate. Instead when you press navigate, it pulls up a page where they want you pay (for the week or year) and then you get a "14 day free trail". Well that's not free! I will definitely be looking else were for my Moto travels. Thanks but no thanks!
