Play Snake like it is 1997. This is a remake of the original Snake, complete with dot-matrix display and monotone sounds. Rewind time and get a dosis of nostalgia that is as addictive (and frustrating) as the original.

- Snake 1 and classic Snake 2
- 7 classic game modes (5110, 3210, 8210, 8850 and 3310, 3410 and 7110 with Snake 2)

- go through the walls! (Snake 2)
- 5 original and 2 extra labyrinths (Snake 2)
- a high score that cannot be reset (just like the original)
The story behind this game is that my smartphone got damaged, requiring me to revert back to an old phone. Suddenly I knew the smartphone was missing something and the idea for a accurate Snake remake was born.
Snake '97 is an homage to the classic mobile phone game programmed in 1997.
By carefully analyzing the classic gameplay, timing and controls, this Snake '97 remake is one of the most accurate available.

Reminds me of my childhood when I was given an old Nokia phone to play Snake on my bus ride home from elementary school. Hours and hours of fun, and will likely spend hours and hours again having fun.

COOL!!! Very good rendition of Snake 1997 version, seems to be just like the one I played on my Nokia 1510 years ago, 2,002'ish. I like how there's a choice of "phone overlays" or "covers,"I noticed that the first 4 you get Snake-version 1 where crashing into the outer rectangular wall IS possible. Where with the "phone overlays" of 5, 6 and 7 you get Snake-version 2 where you can THEN go through the outer rectangular wall; that's very helpful to know.😉 So happy to give this a thumbs up.👍🤠👍

Loving it so far. The snake moves a lot faster then I remember... Or I could just be getting older and slower. Haha. I find it hilarious it shows the Nokia phone. Really sets me back in time. Love it. The newer versions of the snake game have way to much. I love this simple version better.

I have always loved snake and this game does a good job at bringing back some good memories. Most of the time this game works perfectly fine however, it does have its fair share of issues which I'm hoping could be patched soon 1) you must be online to even play the game which is unfortunate 2) sometimes the snake randomly goes through a wall and shows up on the opposite side and gets me killed 3)the delay which is there when it makes contact with a wall is sometimes not there, causing my death

Awesome throwback! Would happily pay a few bucks to permanently remove ads if that option was added. If you're having difficulty with the touch controls, a tip is to use two "diagonal" buttons (like 3 and 7) to handle all movement so you don't need to move your fingers around the screen!

I love this game, I use to play this when I was a teenager, and even though I don't have that phone anymore, I loved it. ❤️❤️ And another things that I love is that, there are NO ADS!!!! God I hate games with ads. There are annoying. Every 2 seconds an add pops up, and this game doesn't have it. All I am missing is the old phone, for the game to be PERFECT! ❤️❤️
