Guardians of Ancora is a fun, epic parkour adventure game where players have to run, jump, roll and slide their way through stories of the Bible where they’ll meet Jesus and experience the miracles he performed. Winner of Premier Digital’s awards ‘App of the year 2015', 'App of the year 2017' and ‘innovative use of media in outreach’.
Guardians of Ancora is free to play with no adverts or in-app purchases.

Story
Ancora, founded hundreds of years ago by the first Guildmaster Othniel is a city of light powered by the Saga, a collection of all the amazing stories of the Bible. The City of Ancora provides light and life for the whole land. The Spire of Light which stands at the top of the city glows with the power of those stories.
The city of Ancora is still recovering from the attack of the Great Shadow, Ancora’s greatest enemy. Jealous of Ancora’s light and the power of the Saga, the Great Shadow launched an attack against the city to steal away its stories. He was defeated by the simplest of treasures a plain wooden cup which symbolises the greatest story in the whole saga, but many of the stories were lost in the attack and the Spire grew dim.
Ancora is now calling for young heroes to come forward and help rediscover these lost stories and bring the light back to the city! Will you answer the call?

Bible Quests
There are 11 exciting Bible story Quests to play through. The stories available are:
•Messages from Angels (the Angel Gabriel appears to Mary)
•Angels and Shepherds (the birth of Jesus)
•Jesus and the Fishermen (Jesus calls his first disciples)
•At Simon Peter’s House (Jesus heals Simon Peter’s Mother-in-law)
•Jesus Forgives and heals (Jesus heals a man lowered through the roof)
•Jesus feeds a crowd (Jesus feeds the 5000)
•Jesus and the Roman Officer (Jesus heals a Roman Officer’s servant)
•Jesus and Jairus (Jesus raises Jairus’ daughter)
•How to talk to God (Jesus teaches his disciples the Lord’s Prayer)
•The way to the cross (The trial and crucifixion of Jesus)
•Jesus is alive (The resurrection of Jesus)

I truly do love this game. It's quality and structure is just amazing. Would totally buy as a computer game. The voice acting is wonderful and so is the art. My only real issue is that there isn't much content and it's completely confined to the gospels. i would like to see some old testament or some of Paul. It also takes forever to level up to get items to get to special areas so your just doing the same thing over and over. I would lower the level cap to get the items until more content.

I'm old but enjoy this. I wish it had more levels! Bonus areas are fun and challenging. The music sets the mood and era nicely. The outfits are interesting. No ads or things to buy with real money. I love that you can feed some of the animals. Minor things I'd add if I could- More and different kinds of animals to feed. Better yet, being able to adopt an animal and have it go on the quests with you! Your character grunting all the time gets a bit annoying. More levels. Please :)

The graphics on this game were very well done. Like others have said the controls make the experience limited. There were moments of glitching and then I would have to restart the level. It would be appreciated if the content of the game remained biblical and didnt diverge from the truth especially with young ones playing the game. I was happy to find such a well done biblical game but was saddened to see it stray from accuracy. Please consider revising this game. God bless.

Overall, Guardians of Ancora is a phenomenal game. There's so many games out there in the Play Store that are not God-honoring, yet this game excels on being a God-honoring, Christian game. I feel it combines Zelda, Splatoon, and other games that I enjoy into a game that shares the faith. My only suggestion is to add a 3D, open-world exploration aspect to the game (aside from the game's main platforming/parkour mechanics). Other than that, excellent work! God bless. 🙂✝️

Well i would love to write the perfect review but i can not even though i love Jesus. The game is great when it worked the first time. After the download the game only worked the first time. Now unfortunately it only gets to English/other language. Once English is pressed it says loading and there it stays. Without progress. I'm sorry for that low rateing when I'm able to experience the full game i will be able to honestly rate higher marks. Thank you God bless.

4.9 stars. Besides the biblical teachings (cherry on top) this is actually a very good game. The controls could be have a little better response and I wish there was a way you could skip the chapter intros (only once you have watched them of course). Otherwise, brilliant game.
