It seemed fun for a bit, and the story was okay, but it barely focuses on a love journey, and more on a revenge story. the game is chaotic enough without the visuals. the U.I is extremely hard to get used to, and after only a week of playing, I found myself playing to level up partners or allies just to even play the story. the game was very boring for me, as the story had love interests advertised, but in game you just level up 20 different guys, with lazy and sloppy+reppetive stories.

update: I have not been able to get in the game in 4 days. it keeps crashing. I've checked for updates, Uninstalled and reinstalled. Nothing. It's very frustrating. I've put nearly 4 years of time and a good chunck of money in this game to not be able to even open it. when it works, it's great. Very fun and engaging. Addictive game. Lots to do and you can make new friends with the right guild!

I honestly love the game. There is a variety of things to do and has become a lot more fun when finding a good guild. The dresses and other pieces are beautiful too. But the game has become obscenely expensive! The prices for majority items along with events, I can't seem to justify paying for... If there could be deals thrown from time to time or games to try to win some in-game currency, that would be more attractive to players. I'm not understanding why it's becoming even more expensive?

I've been playing for a while now, and I used to love this game. The art is stunning, and I love the story. But, as a casual, somewhat competitive player, It's turning into a money grab game. Modo has put out so many events back to back that you can not save enough ingots and have to buy more and more to participate. I've paid for the monthly and lifetime pass as well as bought ingots for specific outfits, $15, $25 to $30 worth. Unless you're in that 1% with money to burn, It's not worth it.

Disappointed by the fact that they no longer hide when they cheat you. For example, in field when you are nearing a higher level, they pair you with someone at a different level (i.e. above you) so that you lose. Have had it happen multiple times. I get the algorithm is to challenge but to cheat in this way is unfair. Love my guild and in game friends.

Keep coming back to this one. Imo, it's the simplest one to learn and just better overall. You don't have to spend but you will if you want to be competitive. If not, it takes a lot of hard work, but I've seen some f2p and low spenders in the top. It's still enjoyable without spending if you're there for just the story. Just know if you spend to be competitive, be prepared to spend A LOT. F2p, you will have to save for a long time to get the stuff you want in events, and story progress is slow.
