Awesome game a couple of years ago. The dev team has tried so hard in recent years to keep it "fresh" that I don't even recognize it anymore. Playing feels like a chore. Too many log in bonuses and daily goals. It doesn't fit with what COC built its name on. Having to go through this whole animation of fighting my own base after returning from a hiatus is unbelievably annoying. At least make a way to skip it. I highly dislike the cartoony animations. After 13 years, i might hang it up..

I've been playing CoC for 3 years now and it's a pretty good game as far as strategy, build & battle games go and I would say without spending any money on the game it's pretty easy to keep up with others except for the walls those are painfully annoying to keep at your town hall level I wish they would be at least MUCH much cheaper or just upgrade along with your town hall, if that ever gets fixed I'll make it a full 5 stars but for now it's a 2.

Used to think it was a great game. It's very chill, progression pace is good also. HOWEVER, the new update is some bs if I ever seen any. These new leagues aren't worth adding. They inflated the trophy economy, and made only six attacks a week count towards rank. Getting raided is part of the game. The old system worked very well, and the new one is a free handout to the 12y olds who can't handle losing a miniscule bit of gold. The game's gotten worse and worse. Don't fix what ain't broken.

This new Ranked system is awful and kills the spirit of the game. Let us just grind for trophies at our own leisure instead of signing up for weekly tournaments, nobody asked for this. And a 3 year old could have come up with a better badge system, why not just use the traditional style the game basically invented (Bronze, Silver, Gold, ECT..) instead of the new (Skeleton, Barbarian, Archer...) it's just awful looking and confusing to look at.

I love this game. Building armies, managing resources, and the monthly events keep it fresh so it doesn't become mundane and boring. Update: I dislike the new league system. It looks awful, and I have to wait to participate, and some people can't be on every day to play. I liked it when I could gain trophies from regular battles, but now all I can do is loot, and I can't spend enough loot fast enough to make it worth my time to attack. Still a great game, but I dislike the current league system.

Clash of Duty. I've played this game for years. I consider it the quintessential mobile game. At least I used to. It's becoming over saturated with new troops and spells specifically to counteract the originals. Balanced? Sure. But the veterans of this game loved it for the strategy and genuine challenge. It's on the decline now. It's been fun. Also, I do not appreciate the name changes of our Supercell IDs. I smell a "pay-to-change" scheme.
