What SyncMyTracks Is Used For
SyncMyTracks appears to be a phone app for people who use more than one sports tracking service and want their activity records kept in sync. Based on the metadata, it is commonly used when switching between platforms, consolidating workout history, or mirroring new runs, rides, or other tracked activities across connected accounts.
The app seems focused on exporting and importing activity data, as well as automatic synchronization between accounts. It may move activity details such as route information, time, duration, distance, pace, map data, and supported metrics like heart rate, cadence, power, and temperature. The network permissions fit this kind of service, since the app needs internet access to connect with online accounts and transfer activity data.
Because it is described as a Health & Fitness app, SyncMyTracks is most relevant for users who already rely on sports tracking services and want a centralized way to keep those records aligned. The metadata also suggests it can be configured to sync all activities or only new ones, which may be useful for people maintaining multiple training profiles over time.
