the photo backup feature is severely lacking. It says it completes successfully but if you check, there's often missing files that didn't make it and no errors to retry the failed ones so you have to look through the entire folder and find the missing ones. The bigger issues is it doesn't maintain all the directory structures. It does for some, but not all which makes even less sense. Makes it very hard to sort through and ensure all my images were backed up to my synology.

Doesn't work. Doesn't connect. I tried to contact customer support, but they take days to rrspond (email only). When they did finally respond, their instructions didn't match options for settings on my DS1. I submitted request for clarification and am still waiting for a response. Being able to access my files is the main reason I bought this rather expensive system. The app is useless.

Can't download any files, "Please allow storage permission in your devices Settings to use this function" even though storage permissions are allowed. They're trying to force everyone to use Synology Drive instead. Unacceptable. update: it works if I enable notifications. For some reason notification permissions are required for it to create a download task.

Used to work great, now it's completely broken. just constantly says connected and then reconnecting. Photo backup doesn't work at all becuase of this. Also when photo backup worked it couldn't find some of the folders on my phone where my older photos were stored. so some are backed up and some are not. Even manually trying add the folders doesnt work. NAS is great, but god you guys really suck at software. Every app is a dumpster fire.

I'd like this app a lot more if it didn't have these ridiculous, frustrating failures of logging in. Even worse, is the part where the automatic photo backup rarely works, at all, and even when it sort of works, it's *never* automatic (have to open app & log in). Also, the backup function inexplicably requires you to log in, even though you're already logged in, but mostly it just returns an Error/Connection Failed status on the backup, and no amount of resetting or restarting makes a difference.

I did used to like this app, however since the latest update it no longer remembers where you were in the file tree. So if you are in a directory looking for something, and click into a sub folder, if you go back to the previous directory, it places you in a different location than where you clicked in from, making manual searches nearly impossible in a large directory structure.
