The best offline crossword game. I always play it offline as ads just interrupt our concen- tration. {I turn off the messaging system (my android's sim card {but don't erase it!}) and play on "airplane mode". I highly recommend this app and play it on my phone and Kindle. The puzzle's offer daily and random choices, there are letter and word hints if you really get stuck. Enjoy.

I wish there's a penalty for helps. It's too easy. The ads up top alter the size of the puzzle. Otherwise, it's a fun way to pass time. I changed from 4 - 2 stars cuz I found mistakes. Sandra Dee isnt an actress but a character from Grease, and a turtle isn't a tortoise! I keep finding mistakes! Where do these puzzles come from? The Daily Puzzles used to be in American English but are now foreign to me. I believe the author is British & doesn't understand that all may not know what a "nappy" is.

Thankfully, these puzzles don't have words that aren't really words. Many other crossword apps alter words just to fit them together. This one does not. And the clues here are accurate. But I rated this low because they're only one level of difficulty. Very easy. I'm finishing each within 2 to 5 minutes. No challenge for me. Also, you have to manually put it where you want it. Like, when you're doing the "downs", it jumps to the word beneath that. Not beside it. In chronological order.

This is an early review of the standard crosswords only. Crosswords good. Graphics are very pleasing. App easy to use. Ads are a bit intrusive but I've seen much worse on other free games. Would love to have an override feature on the app. Right now if one of your letters or word is wrong the sequence just overflows into the surrounding cells. I've only done three crosswords but I've already encountered repeated words like "err". Overall, nice app.

I love doing crossword puzzles. I just happened to notice this one tonight, tried one, then another & another. I kept telling myself, "just one more", over & over again !! It's fun & relaxing, if you love crossword puzzles as I do. Only problem, too many ads, other than that, I love finishing each puzzle, & Increasing my vocabulary. ENJOY !!

It improves vocab, keeps thinking plastic. It's still really good play on wifi. I still want a paid version! 9/18/20. The previous update really made the game enjoyable! The ads don't override what I'm listening to. 10/10/20 It now runs an ad after I select a game. Every Time! No longer is it based on time. Here's the real gotcha, the game time starts when the game is selected, so All of the Time in the ad counts against Game Time! Not cool.
