Really like the app but has recently started the irritating habit of asking me to log in again and then, apparently, struggling to do it. Really takes the gloss of it. Edit 09/02/25. Now I have insurance it would be nice to be able to view it on the app. Asked me to log in. Doesn't recognise my password. Asked for a code, 3 codes and 3 cycles later I am still no nearer being able to see my policy documents or details of any renewals.

AI doesn't recognise my post code, doesn't recognise the phrase "breakdown cover" as it is still "learning" (hilarious!) We have had breakdown cover with the AA for over 25 years but there is no means to input this. This means I cannot input my car or MOT details. I don't have any insurance with the AA but that's all the app wants. The option to report an accident appears, so as per other reviewers, I hope that it would function if needed but cannot comment. So app is a bit useless so far.

The new version no longer has a petrol station finder, don't understand this, what a waste of time, this app no longer serves a function for me, may as well uninstall 🤔, very buggy update find parking... Very poor it tells me I can park in a nursery car park I cannot it is a private car park, and the zoom function is atrocious if I zoom in it automatically zooms back out again.

The roadside service itself was quick and efficient – once I got to my van, the AA arrived in about 15 minutes and sorted everything out. However, their WhatsApp “bot” system was useless. I needed to speak to a real person to explain I wasn’t with my vehicle, but the bot just went round in circles and got me nowhere. In the end I had to get a lift to the van just so someone would come out. Great service in person, but the online support was pathetic.

Without a doubt, this is the best company on the road! The app just makes it 10 times simpler to report a breakdown. No long cues, no questions asked, they turn up within the time frame given if not before. What I love the most is that you can call them our from home.

My AA Breakdown cover is included as part of my car insurance. I tried to create an account but after jumping through all the hoops and failing to find my policy the app referred me to WhatsApp. I duly went through the whole procedure again and was finally informed that the AA app does not work with Admiral Insurance. Marvellous. Needless to say but my next step will be to uninstall the app. Maybe you could publish a list of the Insurance Companies that the app will (or will not) work with.
