As far as dispersed camping goes camping goes. this doesn't have very many locations. you can't pin and add locations offline. you can't GPS coordinates locations to add either. I went out scouting today, this app only shows two locations. but it's probably like around 100. at first I tried to add new locations to the map and it wouldn't let me. So then I recorded the GPS coordinates to add later. but you can't. I would like to see. offline pinpoint recording, GPS coordinates and free subscr

Once upon a time, state parks were free and mobile phones weren't a thing. Travelers paid $35 for a road atlas every couple of years, drove to a green tent on the map and hoped the place still existed and wasn't full. The Dyrt's community info, clean interface/filters and trip planner are well worth it to me. One night pays for the year. If you disagree, freecampsites and allstays offer truly free site lists- but you'll be bombarded with ads and hard to decipher visuals. I prefer this.

Filters do not work. I have spent the better part of the last hour searching through the free camping and what I find is the dyrt thinks that a state or federal park is free. Most listings under free require a reservation and payment at a kiosk. Free means no payment at all. Wasted time and won't waste my money on an app that doesn't understand a simple definition. Don't believe me check out Doughton Park Campground listed under free camping. One of many I found.

Thankfully a reversal finally processed. I don't know what happened. I paid, and there was nothing. No camp sites. I know TONS that are free in the area, and it only had one? Looked like it was still in trial mode even though I paid. I'm thinking that maybe it was really activated after all, and they don't have anything added to their map yet because the app is new. Maybe after a year or so they'll get more sites? Just a bizarre experience altogether. Still don't recommend, even though I have be

They sell your email to their partners. I joined this morning and all day I've been getting emails from lists and companies. Some acknowledged they got my email from dyrt. I didn't pay attention to the fine print when I signed up. I don't know if there was an option to not sign up for that junk. I lost count on the number of unsubscribe clicks. In terms of the value of dyrt: Too many bad listings with no reviews. A lot of the information is available elsewhere so it's a bit repetitive.

poor support, buggy features. I've had a string of trouble. First most features were locked behind 'Pro' subscription. I loved the idea of the service, it just doesn't work very well. I thought maybe that it would be better if I went ahead and paid for it. Nope. I purchased on Black Friday and when I ran into trouble I learned their entire staff had taken the busiest day off. Still so many issues. Got double charged, sign in issues, still upsell with pro, but mostly it's the lack of support.
