It's hard to tell if the app is really protecting anything. I hope it is working. A small notification pops up often to tell that it did something, but the notifications are more of a nuscence, for they obstruct the screen while I'm working on something else, and it doesn't disappear by swiping: it stays in the way for as long as 30 seconds, forcing a wait. Then it offers to sell more protection in case I want to spend more money annually.

I've had Trend macro for my pc and phone for a few years now and other than a few minor bugs I haven't had many issues, but recently I've been unable to reup the subscription, now I can't access my emails through the Gmail app, its almost like its acting as ransomware! I hope it's just a glitch because it seems to be trying to scan the emails but can't because the subscription is expired and that is causing the spinning wheel of death, because if this is intentional it really doesn't look good

This was an item Best Buy included with my computer purchase. They said it was free for me during the initial period but I would be charged during auto renewal (they swiped my card separately at that time during my transaction for this). They also said it'd be easy to cancel at any time before the renewal date came around. This has been nothing but easy! I finally tried reaching out to their technical support team through their "recommended" option only to wait over 10min without any such help!

After getting a new phone and installed the program, it was giving me a hard time installing it right. It asked for my password , security code , and was giving me second proof of identity where it sends you a code ( the code that was sent is at the last second ) of the time limit. So I input the code but won't recognized it. I did this in a total of 9 times . I got frustrated with the way it was going and might not get the program again for renewal.

I like this app. Have been using for several years, along with coverage for my computers. Maybe I'm not savvy enough to complain about some of the things others are experiencing. I like the notifications. I want to know that it is checking and protecting me as I surf. Certainly less intrusive than other things that pop-up. Like annoying adds. I'm very happy with the service.

First, I have a subscription to Trend Micro for my PC. I like it, so, from my Account page, I downloaded this app. I am currently protecting 5 of 10 devices I'm licensed for. It still wanted me to buy it. At 11:58 PM, last night. I started getting messages to license it every 2 minutes until I finally denied it permission to notifications. Whose bright idea was that? Pestering customers once they are trying to sleep doesn't seem to be the best marketing strategy.
