About this app
This app is an automatic file sync and backup tool. It lets you automatically synchronize files and folders with Dropbox cloud storage and with your other devices. It is an ideal tool for photo sync, document and file backup, automatic file transfer, automatic file sharing between devices,...
New files in your cloud account are automatically downloaded onto your device. New files in your device are uploaded. If you delete a file on one side, it will be deleted on the other side. It works across multiple devices (your phone and your tablet). If their folders are synced with the same cloud account, they will be kept in sync with each other.
This is how Dropbox works on computers but not on Android. Two-way automatic synchronization should be an essential function of the official app. For whatever reason, it is not the case. Dropsync is here to fill the gap.
All file transfers and communications between user devices and cloud storage servers are securely encrypted and do not go through our servers. No outsiders will be able to decrypt, see or modify any file contents.
MAIN FEATURES
• Full two-way automatic synchronization of files and folders
• Many sync modes. Not only two-way, you can also choose Upload only, Upload then delete, Download only, Download mirror,...

So far, so good. I only need to sync my android download folder to save pictures of my grandchildren texted to me. The free version works flawlessly. It synced the 400+ images in the folder and the dozen I received in the 3 days that I've been using the app. I'm not sure exactly what triggers a sync. I downloaded 5 images last night and only one automatically synced when I checked a few minutes later. I hit refresh and the remaining ones synced ok. Maybe I didn't wait long enough.

Can't create the initial connection to Dropbox account. A webpage comes up, but it's blank. Same with the autosync app. Is there a problem between the app and galaxy s22? Edit: After a fast response to my issue the app is now working and I give it 5 stars. They suggested I use Chrome, but I was already. The problem was that my security settings were too tight.

I've been using the free for several months to keep an Android folder synced up with a Dropbox folder. It's reliable and so useful that I just paid for the full pro version, and plan to sync multiple folders. This makes the task of sharing sets of huge files (like audiobooks) between my phone and computer so much simpler! And it has worked great to keep Obsidian notes in sync on both devices. Highly recommended!

It is a great app. It works much better than the Dropbox built-in feature "make available offline", which failed on me several times. It is very reliable, and does exactly what you ask it to do. I have a Pro version, just to support the developers. You don't need the pro really - if you are willing to consolidate all the phone-synced content into one Dropbox folder.

Great app that takes up no battery, or if it does you can't tell anyhow. Does everything it's supposed to . Scans daily , or if you download something through the day it'll scan , and add it to your Dropbox. You choose which files you want Dropbox to save , and you choose if you want it to delete it off your phone, or keep it on your phone as well , along with mirroring which it tells you what that is in the app. Just had alot of options, shows your memory left in dropbox storage too.

I have been using this app (pro) for years and it syncs everything I choose on my phone to specific folders in Dropbox (I use one-way sync only). Sometimes apps update photo location on the phone and this needs to be updated. I sync manually, not automatic because I don't want everything to go to Dropbox. I sort through pics and edit or delete them, then sync. Great flexibility to choose what needs to go where.
