This app, as well as the website on PC, is so unbearably slow that it has frozen my phone and dragged my PC's speed to an absolute crawl just by being open. I've done everything from clearing the cache on phone and PC, to uninstalling & reinstalling (or shutting off my PC), to fix the issue; and nothing fixes the issue, but the fact that it's happening to multiple people everywhere on multiple devices already shows the issue is not on my end.

The platform itself is pretty good, I get to connect with others with the same interests as me, plus there's great art, memes, gameplay, etc. on my feed constantly. Unfortunately, this app sucks. It is filled with annoying bugs which take the developers way too long to fix, and then when they do, an even worse bug ends up taking its place!

Recent update now prevents me from uploading images through the app. Trying to upload anything tells me I have the permissions to access my Media and Files turned off, and that I need to enable them. But the permissions don't have Media and Files, or anything similar, listed to allow/deny. I swear, with this app, it's always one thing or another.

I've been using this app for years but for the past week, I haven't been able to post pictures or video clips when I usually could. I tried going into my phone's permission settings to allow those options to be In use. it wasn't even listed. There was some kind of update recently and my phone got a bug maybe? I'm not the only person dealing with this issue. if you go on reddit and search for this exact issue MANY people are dealing with this. Can someone fix this?

if I have to verify that "yes I am a person" one more time I'm going to go insane every other comment I post I get redirected to a "confirm you're a person" page, it's ridiculous... the "graphic content" warning as a "show" option, but it doesn't work half the time so the image stays hidden and there's nothing I can do about it even when I have that setting disabled...

While the app isn't exactly 'terrible' their latest update has left a bug where you cannot access the Content Warning button on Android, it essentially makes the app completely unusable if you view adult content (such as Fafo) and when you go to the X help center it is completely over complicated to the point where I spent an hour and some change attempting to find the 'Contact Us' button to report the bug- only for me to find out essentially that X(Twitter) doesn't have a report. So I'm here.
