Choose your horse from over 50 breeds (purebred Arabian, Fjord, French Riding Pony, Shetland…) with 17 different coats. You can even choose ponies, donkeys or unicorns.
- TAKE CARE of your new friend
Feed it so they'll be healthy, and make sure their energy level stays high.
Keep an eye on their morale, and don't hesitate to give them treats or stroke them if their morale drops.

- TRAIN your horses
When your horse is 3 years old, choose a specialty of either classical riding (speed, cross-country, show-jumping, or dressage competitions) or western riding (barrel racing, cutting, reining, western pleasure or trail class competitions), then start training them to enhance their skills.
Select the best tack (saddle, saddle cloth, bridle, etc.) to increase your champion's performance.

- PLAY in teams to climb the rankings
Form teams of up to 20 players to improve a breed together and reach the top spots in one of the four available rankings (best genetic potential, number of horses, number of rosettes won, or ranking in the Top 1,000 for Grand Prix competitions).
- CREATE your own illustrations and SHARE them with the community
Create your own coats and landscapes. Submit them to the community to win prizes.
You can also personalize your horse and landscape with thousands of artworks made by the community.

seems like it could be fun (very similar to a web game called Lioden breeding wise) however I have been unable to verify my account for over a week, locking me out of a lot of features and an entire currency option. Apparently this has been an issue for awhile, with no notice or anything on the app or site that it doesn't work. Might not be playing for long if this isn't addressed soon, there's no point.

It's an ok game, but the prices are outrages, it's hard to get enough Equus and passes together to be able to buy anything, and to finish any of the events, it requires you to use real money to buy something. It's a disappointment 😞. And there is NO contact support, you complain about a problem and it gets ignored. They only help to top real money spenders who play, the rest don't matter to them. Save yourself the disappointment and trouble and don't play this game.

This app was okay, but now I can't sign in. The app updated after the last maintenance, and now it just doesn't let people sign in. I have seen many complaints about this issue, and it's been almost a week, but nothing has been done about it. Sure, you could use the website, but that's a hassle for those of us who just want to see our horses and enjoy the relaxing parts of the game. The signing in issue has nothing to do with passwords or usernames. It just doesn't work when you log in correctly

Garbage app. I have played Howrse for over thirteen years and this app made me want to give up on my account entirely. Freezes constantly, bugs everywhere, and most of the site is unavailable. I have been unable to verify my email for a month, making it impossible to use many of the games features. Tried to verify on desktop and contact staff.. got absolutely nothing in response. Don't bother downloading this - go use the browser version, if you still want to play at all. Used to love this game.

Good game but the app runs terribly. Constantly freezing, loads slowly, and randomly logs me out. I have to restart the app just to play several times each session. I've reinstalled, cleared cache, etc and nothing has helped. It's been like this for years. It's getting worse over time. Not to mention that there are options/features you literally cannot access without using the desktop version.

Stuck on opening my equestrian center, and there's no way to fix it. I click on the link on the "page not found" notice, and it takes me to a webpage that doesn't recognize my password. I changed my password three times and was never able to actually log in. I force stopped the app, cleared my cache, and I still have "page not found" when I go back into the app. I'm uninstalling. Response to the comment below: you missed the part where your website isn't recognizing my password. 🙄
