I love the app & being able to view a lot of options at one time & have used it to find some of our favorite places! The biggest problem that I have with the HomeAway app & it's the same with all of them, the "per night" average is nowhere close to the actual per night charge, no matter what property you choose. It wastes time having to go into each property, enter the dates & then get a quote, just to see what the price MAY be. Additionally, availability is sometimes off, which may be a problem that can't be avoided. However, one thing that can, Rental Agreements. Letting a potential client know if a lengthy rental agreement will be necessary & what the terms are, prior to booking, seems a no-brainer to me. It would save the home owner a lot of wasted time, or so it would seem.

I find this app poor. The prices are all in NZ dollars, there is no obvious place anywhere to change this to euros when planning a trip to Europe from Europe!?! Even the virtual assistant can't help with this problem... because I don't have any bookings

I attempted to make a booking through this app which was never confirmed. After trying to confirm and finding neither the host not the app available I then tried to cancel. This was also not possible and so I messaged the host who told me they would cancel my request and then charged $4300, which I'm now trying to cancel from my credit card.

Booked a holiday with bookabach and without any communication from bookabach started receiving updates about my trip from "Vrbo". So it turns out they are one in the same. Confusing though, and now I know it's some big multinational I won't be using it again. Went to their website to contact them and the "contact support" button just goes to the homepage lol.

The app does not open my booked trip, it is absolute rubbish! Everytime I click on the reservation ID I get a page that says request access to view this trip. I click on this and it says cant find my booking. Geez it shouldn't be this hard!

This app has such potential but the bugs in it make it a nightmare to use. I booked a trip using the app, but the owner was unable to confirm it, every time she did it kicked it back. Then it said that the payment hadn't processed but the notice it sent me was blank where the payment instructions were meant to be. If I chose the help button it said there was no booking linked to my account and the ability to type had been disabled. Absolutely useless!
