Hum, so far, is a great thing to have in my car. The Wifi hot spot is very handy, and the vehicle diagnostics are fun to review (since nothing's wrong). When my wife lost her only set of keys, I was able to monitor the car and make sure it hadn't been towed while I found them. It tells you where cheap gas is. Downsides? The speaker emits a loud double beep when the car is started, and I don't know what it means, as there is no user guide, and I can't turn it down. And some controls aren't marked.

App crashes every time I try to open it. No idea if I'm going to get charged because my trial period is ending and I can't open the app. Also, the safety rating is pretty useless. It never recognises phone use, thinks I brake hard at my exit every time (there is a stop sign immediately after the exit, but it then goes under a bridge so I think it's a GPS issue) and there's no way to change the speed it thinks is too fast. The speed limits here are 70mph so sometimes it not safe to do under 75.

Waste of money. Diagnostic program is supposed to alert you when there is an issue with the vehicle. I got one alert for loose gas cap once. But that's it. Now I'm stuck on the side of the road with a truck that won't start and an app that can't tell me what is wrong so I can go but the right part. P.O.S. product. Will return and demand account credit. DO NOT BUY!!!

Decent app, could use an update on timing, since it's always off by an hour. Should pull up and record more information such as, exact speed every second or minute, location, G-forces, along with data from the onboard computer. Call quality on the device is not all that great, and battery life could be improved as well. If you want to pay Verizon to track your car's location and send you a bunch of useless ads, then this app is for you.

DO NOT BUY Hum. App does not crash but that is the only good thing. One vehicle at a time in the app. Driving history does not allow easy navigation to next entry. Sometimes just stops showing location. History has gaps. Trouble codes on car can't be cleared without calling them. Service is ridiculously difficult to talk to. More more more......

I'd like to give a 2.5, but that doesn't exist. What works well: maintenance reminders, speed alerts, and location finder. What's a struggle: capturing driving trips accurately. It baffles me how this device manages to miss an entire day worth of driving, and I use Hum to track miles for work. I've been a Hum user for 2 years, and I'm done with having to fill in the blanks.
