Wow, this compass is as good as it gets! I absolutely love it. I bought the ad free version the first day and still use it often. I use it in my truck to help me figure out if that occasional winding road is taking me in the right direction. Sometimes the bloated navigation maps are too much and don't tell you where you are unless you put in a destination. This compass app is simple, uncrowded and a joy to use. Please don't change a thing.

It's a compass. It works well enough for being a free compass app. Things get really wonky when you try to use GPS and which way you are facing. Your phone also needs to be level or thereabouts. If you are upside-down or sideways, the compass loses track of where you are facing by either 180 to 360 degrees. Small gripe though. Biggest gripe. Is the direction you're facing on GPS, doesn't work accurately enough

Finally a compass app that's simple and accurate! I've been using it for a couple years now while hiking and it's right on with my standard compass(that has now become my backup) and even worked well on a plane where I was comparing the heading of the in-flight info to the compass and was just about right on. Just bought the pro version for support but the ads were not intrusive. The 'On taking things for granted' quote by Goddard in the settings is a nice Easter egg. 👍

DO NOT DOWNLOAD! This app will display ad alerts in the top menu of your Android phone. Two that I had were for a family phone tracker and the other was for a barcode scanner. The icon on the top menu made it look like Google Store was the source of the ad alerts. After searching the internet, I found other people with the same problem. Once I deleted this app, the ads stopped. This method of forcing ads on your phone is deceptive and should be illegal.

I paid for the full ad-free option. Today, I got a pop-up consent window when opening this compass app that has a huge list of so-called "legitimate" advertising partners that I cannot fully opt out of. Despite the consent portion of the pop-up, it seems the app can still trade data with all the many partners listed. I revoke my five stars back down to one star or less. I've deleted your compass app.

All of the other compass app designers act as if they're little app is going to make them millions of dollars so they had better advertise every way they can. The service they are providing is just an afterthought, and that is obvious. And how amazingly difficult they are to use too. This one is refreshingly straightforward. Where I am headed Is all I was looking for.... and thank you for providing that for me. Great app!!!
