About this app

Ellen G. White is the most widely published Seventh-day Adventist author. Her ministry spanned 70 years, from 1844 until 1915. Guided by the Holy Spirit, she exalted Jesus and pointed to Scripture as the basis of one's faith. Ellen White wrote on a wide variety of spiritual and practical topics, from spiritual, to health, education, ministry, financial and marital advice. Her best known most translated work is Steps to Christ, followed by the 5 conflict of the ages series: Patriarchs and Prophets, Prophets and Kings, Desire of Ages, Acts of the Apostles, and The Great Controversy. Ellen G. White is also credited as the co-founder of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
EGW Writings 2, v.8.0.0 for Android, enables you to download The Complete Published Writings of Ellen G. White. This free app is available from Android OS v.4.2.0 and up. The EGW Writings 2 app allows users to download books individually or as a complete collection. The user interface (UI) menus now support 16 languages: Arabic, Chinese, English, French, German, Indonesian, Italian, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Spanish, Swahili, Tagalog, and Ukrainian. In addition, the app has EGW books in 137 languages that you can download or read online.

- Downloading books to Internal Memory has been optimized for multi-threaded quick downloads of all collections. Please note that Google Android OS limits downloads to one book at a time for External SD storage cards. So it could take days to download all the books to your Ext. SD Card. We suggest downloading all the books to your internal memory first (if you have the space) and then transferring the books to your SD Card by going to the side menu>Settings>Database location>tap switch> then choose Ext. SD Card>OK.

v7.0.1 is really, really good. I just upgraded a few days ago, and all the previous complaints appear to be addressed. (I haven't been able to test the sync between multiple devices in a while, so no comment on that...) I do have a new gripe, though: I used to be able to make and copy a huge selection, with the URL, without issue. Now, it copies a subset of the selection, adds ellipses, and the full URL. I would really like an option to restore the previous behavior, even if not the default.

This is a great app for those who want to study the writings of Ellen White or the other pioneers of our faith. I enjoy the audio feastures. Study center has been improved and I'd helpful. Most of the bugs have been worked out of the app. But I'd love to see some more features added. I would like to see an option for auto scroll. And I'd like the app to automatically open every book to where I was last reading (or listening).

Very useful app. So enjoyable to listen to chapter after chapter while working around the house or traveling. Organizing notes, bookmarks, underlining and highlighting into folders in the Study Center is very helpful. The EGW Children's Stories in the Reference section, along with all the other study materials, is wonderful to have available at any time. So many books and articles available for free! I highly recommend using this app often.

LOVE IT! Every book, letter, and statement can be found. it even has books from the pioneers of the Advent Movement. I love especially the Scriptural references with EGW quotes. And if I don't feel like reading, a lot of the books have an audio version I can listen to! it takes a little time learning how to navigate but well worth it. I only have one criticism is the the last update the citation is no longer included when you copy and paste.

I love this app!! I own quite a few of Ellen White's books, but definitely not all. And it's nice when having my devotions to have access for research. I love the Audiobooks section. My suggestion for something that needs to be worked on is this, it would be nice to have a selection of the Bible Audiobook that read the scripture without saying the number before each verse. I like to listen while I drive and it's distracting when they say the number before reading the verse, it doesn't flow.

Content and selection is good. I enjoy reading from the numerous options. One inconvenience is the highlights and bookmarks do not stay put. When I want to save my spot for next time. I place a bookmark, so I can pick up where I left off, only to find it missing next time I read. I also like to highlight certain good points, but those disappear too. So inconvenient and annoying.
