They have lost the plot. The regular keyword/filter search is gone, there is only an AI search which is too specific, which ends up getting really low quality, irrelevant results which are nothing at all what you're searching for. There are no real offers anymore, only recruiter spam from lesser known recruiters posting general, generic job offers, with no company listed on who you're working for, meaning there is no job. They don't listen to real user feedback and continue degenerating.

Unfortunately the Xing platform has simply degraded over time. There is no focus on Networking. Also the UI's focus on swiping right or left for jobs feels anything but a networking or a job search platform. Xing has to make up its mind what it needs. If it wants to be a job search platform, then searching the job should be easy and no AI prompting is necessary. And for the love of God, please remove the swiping feature when I open the app, this is not a dating app.

Every half year I get a new batch of emails I have to unsubscribe from. It's very annoying. I gave a white list of preferences and they are continuously add new things I have to block.

When I created a résumé on a website, a Xing profile was created without my consent. It was very difficult to delete this profile again. Very unprofessional.

Absolutely worthless since it started just showing dating app style cards of jobs which are not vacant. Why do you send me emails telling me people are interested in my current job? What are you even trying to achieve these days?

I am very dissapointed. The app has a lot of errors, the same as the webservice. I am trying since weeks to retrieve my password. The support was useless... When I decided to cancel the subscription, another big surprise. The proces is hidden and even after you find it, it s full of errors so you can't do a thing. TRY IT. Finally managed to write them... already 3 times. No answer. Really Xing? This is how you plan to compete to Linkedin?? Or just trying to show this amazing service quality.
