What the ESPN App always hoped to be. Loads fast with less ads and full play-by-play and stats, not just for the events Yahoo covers (unlike Di$ney$ E$PN now). The interface was actually very quick to learn as it was similar to ESPN but without the bloat. The highlights could be better, but I can always go to YouTube if I want more extensive highlights.

The widget has been stuck on the same rained out baseball game for weeks. I've tried everything and am starting to look around for alternatives so I can uninstall. I really need a more reliable source for when and where my fav baseball team plays every day. This was always the best sports widget app, but it's looking more and more like a long neglected lawn.

The app used to always open to the last sport I viewed. This was great as I'm generally only checking MLB scores during baseball season, or only NFL scores during football season. It was great that the app always opened to where I wanted to be. A recent update removed this. It now only opens to the "home" tab which doesn't show everything I want to see, and it's annoying to have to navigate through menus now when I didn't before. Please return this feature.

After years of using this app exclusively for scores I had to delete after the most recent updates. The box score isn't fully viewable without scrolling to the side, and the app opens to the news tab on start up instead of the last tab used which was only ever the scores tab for me. Also the addition of "Big Play" updates when looking through scores is unnecessary and I would have turned off if I had the option of customization but since I don't I moved on to a new and better app.

For over a decade, Yahoo Sports has been my go-to sports app. If it gets buggier, I'll be looking elsewhere. With the last update scrolling will simply freeze. Can't scroll back or forward. Often an article loads as far as the headline but the story section is blank. Then there are the VERY annoying ads for "The Old Man" which jump into that whole screen and, if I scroll down, if any of the ad is still visible, it jumps back up to the top of the ad. Arrgh!
