Nice-looking app, but usability suffers as the podcasts are not easy to handle. If I stop listening or are thrown out, I need to click many times and then try to remember how far I got in the program. Further, to get to the latest episodes of interesting programs, I have to go to my favourites, then click the program and finally the right episode. I used to listen to Areena podcasts via Google podcasts but unfortunately that doesn't work anymore. It's a better app for podcasts.

Couldn't get the app to work. Every time I open it, it loads for multiple minutes in the logo screen or hungs there forever. And when it sometimes actually opens, searches and everything else takes a long time. Also, I have never managed to actually start any stream from the app when I finally manage to find the program. Every other streaming app works quickly and I can view streams from areena website, so the problem is not with the internet connection. Edit: yes, I'm using the latest version

Good selection of documentaries and shows. Simple to use. I always find something to watch. Rating would be 5/5 but the subtitles (at least on Prisma documentaries) are annoying sometimes. They are purely white which means that they are very hard or impossible to read when on a white background. Please add a black outline or something similar to the subtitles so we can actually read them. Thank you.

Very disappointing. Does not stay connected. If you watch more than one episode, the second one invariably stops after ca. 3 minutes. The app does not maintain connection when casting to Chromecast, you lose the ability to pause etc while watching. Also, listening to podcasts direct often stops for no apparent reason.

Edit. Well now I have to make acc in order to use it at all, great change for tax payers. Well started using it on Firefox. Kids are not happy when TV requires accout now.. When playing via Bluetooth to car stereo it doesn't often show the duration or track info anymore for some reason. My phone has 12Gb of RAM. One would think that it's enough to keep video url and time memorized when the app is in background. Some older version did keep it better.No I won't make an account just for that.

Works well, also with chomecast, however the new login requirement requires registration that does not allow people born after 2010 to register with their actual birth date. The app is not rated for 18 years old, rather parental guidance is marked. This needs to be fixed so that persons under 18 can use the app as well. Three stars only because of this new requirement that does not allow my children to use it anymore without registering as an adult.
