Tried scanning qr code on parking ticket on two occasions now. nothing happens ! tried calling support today, but not open on weekends. therefore had to go back on both occasions to stand in long queues. had hopes this app would relieve frustrations, but ended up adding to them.

My own, and other friends' credit card details have been leaked, almost certainly through Zapper. We have had large fraudulent payments go off from our cards. Zapper is compromised. If you have a card saved on Zapper, block the card with your bank after checking your statements for any fraudulent payments. A commonly used one comes up as "STEAMGAMES XXXXXXXX" on your statement. Remove the card from Zapper and never add the details of another card to the platform. Not worth it.

Rubbish app. Refuses to scan at the major retail stores have have QR code payment options in South Africa. Deleted the app, reloaded, still refuses to work.

I've been using zapper for many years and I haven't had any problems with it so I would say it has excellent services.

In previous usage of the app I have had a breeze. Keeps track of loyalty cards, easy usage, clean user interface. However, I have recently changed phones and cannot use the app at all as none of my card details are accepted. So if your phone is a new one and you have a good amount of life, definitely use Zapper. If you're thinking about changing phones, wait until you do.
