I've been using Mood since 2018. I used it for a year; liked it so much that I paid for the full version. It worked well until the end of ‘24 when I stopped getting hyperlinks in group chats and pictures sent and received were very blurry. I emailed Mood support over a week ago and haven’t gotten a response. I really like all the features and settings, but links and attachments are a pretty basic function that it should handle, so I’m gonna switch to another app, at least for a while.

LOVE this app! only one problem. the bubble that pops up, I've yet to figure out how to turn off. when my phones on DND I still get texts. it's incredibly frustrating. outside of that, I really enjoy this app. I can hide family members & friends that text too much without blocking them. wish they'd fix this one issue or tell me how. oh and half my photos get sent pixalated. that'd bring my review to 3 stars.

Been using this app for at least a decade. Mostly works, but since the most recent update three days ago all my sends show as undelivered, even though they are received by the other party. No amount of clearing cache or restarting will fix it. The problems seem to come quarterly. Not long ago it was poor image quality in pics and video. Other times links that did not work or were unreadable. Honestly, old technology that is constantly tweaked to poor results.

I have been using Mood for many years and have never had any problems. I love that I can assign different songs to texts and phone calls and color code my contacts. However, for the past 9 months when I send someone a picture it's blurry on their end. So frustrating!! I really do not want to find another messaging app. I've tried changing settings per what others have been told, still no luck. :(

This is an excellent app. N it just keeps getting better. 8/25/25 update: So, for the last several days, videos I send n receive won't play. They'll act like they are, then go to black screen n say unavailable. It's very irritating. I've cleared the cache n restarted my phone repeatedly. And it's also just showing numbers, instead of names when I open it. I'll close it several times n then it'll show the names. I tried to send a message to them about it but, that's weird in the app n couldn't.

I'm dropping my rating back to a 3. I've had some various problem with the software, which I've reported to Mood, but there is no response other than 'we are very busy and will get back to you'. I've had a problem for over a year now - and while it's basically a minor thing - it's still a problem and it doesn't work. I've reported another problem and still there is no response. Nothing but canned emails. I purchased a lifetime membership - but it may be time to move on to another app.
