I've come to enjoy this app and find it a little faster (a little) than Chrome® stable, Edge, Firefox. I like the zoom in icon in the menu because it's much easier to use than the traditional chrome stable options. ffwd to July 2025 everything is still true to what I said last year. the only thing I don't care for with Chrome OS is the data can pile up to a gig of data fairly quick. but otherwise it's great, especially the translate. it's really improved!

04/15/20 For some reason, since the update, apps keep collapsing in the middle of use. Sometimes websites, sometimes Google, sometimes one of my coloring apps....all in the middle of reading or using them. They don't close, just automatically reduce...they are still there, but I have to go in and bring them back up again. Extremely irritating and inconvenient. Never gives me an error message...just...reduces. I'm sorry this isn't more technical and using the correct term. Just want it to stop!

It's fast. I like it because of that. What I don't like is there are lots of ads that are inserted, pop-up or show up or allowed to show up within some of the sites I visit. I do not see any of those ads when I use the other 2 browsers on my Android phone. Why would I want so many distractions. It gets to a point where it's not worth going to certain sites because of the time consuming distractions. Like I said, the other 2 browsers I use seem to filter out the distractions. Uninstalling for now

Better than chrome basic, and chrome dev, fast, very compatible browser, it would be nice if you could use chrome extensions, unfortunately the only browser that lets you do that is Kiwi Browser. Definitely one of the fastest browsers I've used. Perfect for the average phone user. Puffin is by far the fastest browser, but it has some download permission problems that make it a chore to get to your downloads directory.

Beta Tester here! I've been using Chrome Beta as a beta tester for a while, and while it's fast and mostly smooth, it has a lot of issues. Updates often fail, the app freezes or crashes, and there are way too many ads compared to other browsers. The new layout is cluttered, and I accidentally closed all my tabs because the "Close All Tabs" button replaced the "New Tab" button. Also, the address bar doesn't hide when scrolling, which wastes screen space. Needs serious fixes.

Don't know what last night's update did but Chrome Beta is not running well at all. I can't search by tapping in the search box and it seems to be very slow
