About this app
Explorer is perfect for organizing your internal storage and SD card contents. Simple, with a smooth intuitive interface. You can also easily access your cloud and network files.
Features include:
• Multiple tabs - Easily navigate between different locations by swiping or clicking on a tab

Permissions:
• Full network access - Required for network and cloud access. No information is passed to us over the internet.
• Add or remove accounts - Used by the Google Drive SDK to add a new account if desired. No changes are made to existing accounts and no details accessed apart from the account name.
• Find accounts on the device - Used to list available accounts for logging into Google Drive.
• Prevent from sleeping - Used to stop the device sleeping during long operations so they are not interrupted.

Works great! Love the functionality. Only 2 things to comment on: how do you access recently deleted files? I accidentally deleted a really important file and need to get it back but haven't been able to find it on this app or my regular file app. Please help. Second thing: going through files and moving things over takes a long time. Not sure of a quicker way apart from going through each and every file manually to move something over rather than a quick drag and drop.

One of the OGs and best Android File Manager around. Love being able to share, send, or 'Open With..." files to various apps and to G drive. Very light. 4 stars b/c ONE THING that is very frustrating: There's no way to "Limit Search" to a specified folder or group of folders. This is a problem b/c there are folders with thousands of thumbnails and gibberish-named encrypted files. Explorer searches through these folders every time which takes ages! 5 stars when I can omit these folders. Cheers

To be honest, I've only used the wonderful feature for selecting a group of files: 1) Long-press the first file in the group, 2) Scroll down, 3) Long-press the last file in the group. (Maybe lots of file apps can do this??) It saves so much time when I want to select a lot of files, but not all the files, in a folder.

Background copy doesn't work, not for large files anyway. It's pointless to use since device becomes unresponsive. It's better to watch the progress bar and have the opportunity to cancel the copy than to have a temporary brick. I copied between SD and internal mem, 0.5 to 3.5 GB files, android 10, 4GB RAM. Haven't noticed this problem before, but maybe used mostly for many small files before.

The best explorer for now, the speed of moving data and all kinds of features are amazing, I don't really know what the difference between the pro version and the free version is, because the pro version for android 10 and above can't perform delete and cut commands on the SD card, like something like unfixed bug for latest android version. Please pay attention and fix it immediately.
