Love the coffee, hate the app. The interface is clunky and confusing, with inconsistent swipe directions and constant room for error. Gift cards, drink orders, milk options—all a mess. Worst of all, it takes a long time to open for everyone, and even staff apologise for how slow it is. This app desperately needs a full overhaul. I know people who can help.

Agree with all of the comments below. Everytime you go to use the app it never remembers either the pin or biometrics you previously set up, which means you'll have to remember your email and password to log in anyway, at which point it asks you whether you want to set up a pin and biometric even though you did it a thousand times before! Useless.

Complicated, confusing and a longer checkout process than some insurance companies... basically by the time I've managed to order the coffee through the app, I've already arrived (and so may as well speak in person, at least then you know the order has been seen). The app requires internet to load (not always available) and falls over frequently. a negative experience overall.

no longer works properly. originally this app was good as it allowed you to pre order your drink and check your star balance but recently started to not work either on mobile data or any WiFi. after speaking with staff at a Starbucks I regular they said it's an issue with the android version of the app. I would like to say this has been a recent problem but now happens every time I try to use it for about 6 months. I have tried fully reinstalling the app to no avail.

The app is great when it works! However always at the moment I'm buying a coffee it refuses to load! I have to delete the app and reinstall everytime just to get my points. This has been a common occurrence for months now. I do this on my way to order so I dont lose out. Please fix this error.

The app was never the best or easiest to use, but since the update, it's even worse. The app will not allow me to add a new payment method with an expiry past October. When trying to add card details, it only gives the option to add months 1 to 9 and not 10, 11, or 12.
