- Holiday Calendars: You can now subscribe to holiday calendars for different countries and regions. Once subscribed, holidays will appear in the Sidebar, Today list, and Calendar view for easier planning. Great functionality and relatively easy to use. The hardest thing for me is choosing which of the many ways to use it. Separate items into lists? Rely on tags? Use subtasks? Checklists? It has a lot of flexibility, which is why I've turned to it over Microsoft To Do or Google Tasks. Clickup was overwhelming and I didn't feel like I could get a good sense of whether Todoist worked without paying for it. If they could improve one thing, I think it would be more consistent UX across devices.

Before using this app, I would struggle a lot with remembering things I had planned for the day, and it would always cause me to get into some trouble later because I just forget really important things. After a couple of days of using this app, I can definitely say a lot of stress has been taken off my shoulders. The only thing I have to remember now is to check the app daily, which is easy since you can set a specific notification sound for the tasks. Highly recommend this one 👌

It's great it's this is all you use but it doesn't have an event option that just keeps appointments. It's all about things to do. They dissappear after the date. I need to be able to look back at when that happened. I also use google calendar. It was synced properly, but It constantly gave me double entries or didn't sync w google so i missed things. I tried all settings. Finally gave up. I don't have time to miss things. Good app, just not all I need.

I don't use notifications, because they became spam or widgets. I use tasks, habits, and a sycned calendar. It would be nice to customize what gets notified. A little annoying that I have to use a separate calendar for appointments and events though it does sync properly to gmail. I don't appreciate when a product is provided for multiple platforms but only cares about one of them. Don't put out the new features for IOS until you have all OS coded for. Overall I like it, but some issues.

Wirecutter recommended TickTick and boy were they right. Its been wonderful. Categories, lists, reminders. Its the best to do list maker I've had so far. Yea! It's still going strong 4 years later. Superb app. Have never had a problem. Two more years and TickTick is rocking along. no failures, or anything negative. Often suggest it to others who are using all this fancy expensive stuff and get lost in the minutiae. Me? Daily, weekly, monthly, year and years ahead stuff all listed. Wonderful.

a really well rounded, useful app, it's really flexible & customisable. there's just a few things that hold it back, like the list of tasks not being shown in chronological order even though I've set times for them all, not being able to edit a task once it's created, the calendar has multiple view options but none of them are particularly easy/good to look at. it works better on desktop than mobile and I wish it was a desktop app rather than Web browser. few small tweaks would make it perfect
