Cannot buy through the app for pickup in store. If you select shipping and then change your mind, it will not remove the item from the basket. Needs major work. You would think they would fix the problem but apparently don't care. also now you can't sign in with a updated password, keeps saying they're having trouble signing you in try again later which doesn't work.

When app login doesn't work or locks up, try closing the app and reopening it. That sometimes fixes it. The information shown for prescriptions is often incorrect. For example, a prescription filled for a 90 day supply is often (but not always) still shown with a 30 day count, causing the app to prompt the user to refill 60 days early, causing confusion and angry messages from the insurance company. The old version worked correctly, a few years back. Shopping doesn't work at all currently.

And the Worst App EVER Award goes to... Walgreens! Constantly wants me to re-enter my password, which is excessive. Then whenever I search for a product, I get an error message that the service is unavailable. I can't even get the website to work in my phone's internet browser- it constantly tries to divert back to the app which, again, is trash.

When I updated the app, it wouldn't let me use it and kept giving me the "App is outdated" error message. I had to kill the app and reopen it multiple times. I tried to order something for pickup, and got stuck on the "Review" section of submitting an order. When I would try to submit the order or review it, it would just send me back to the start. I had to go to the website on the web browser to place the order.

Doesn't work half the time. Im always getting a notice that they are having trouble when Im trying to log in or it says my cart is empty when its not. Coupons dont work even though they're loaded to the account. Update to my review from 2019, the app is still super glitchy. lately when entering my number to check out the digital coupons aren't loading.

My only complaint is that the app needs a little more work on its system. The app randomly crashes, or errors will pop in when trying to search products, or do online orders. Overall, I recommend the Walgreens app all the time. You save money with coupons, able to keep track of your cash rewards, deals/sales that are going on within the stores. You get access for prescription updates, or the ability to request refills online. The app is really useful and simple. When it works lol
