About this app
** THIS ONLY WORKS IN ADELAIDE, SOUTH AUSTRALIA **
IMPORTANT: If you are upgrading to version 6 or above from 5 or below, you WILL lose you stored stops. Make a note of the stop numbers before upgrading and you can easily set them up again buy using the "Search Stops" and just typing in the number.
If you don't know the stop number type in the street, route, suburb and the list will show you the results for easy addition.
Version 6 and above have a backup/restore feature in the settings page.

When you first load this app there will be no a default stop displayed.
This is because whereDaBus does not know what stop you are interested in looking at.
Click the magnifying glass in the top right corner of the screen to search for stops using the text box.
If you use the map it will only show stops within a 500m area by default. This is increased in the app settings by swiping out from the left hand side of the screen.
Please post bugs to [email protected] NOT in the comments section where they can be easily overlooked.
This is NOT a trip planner app
Don't get stuck with out of date timetables, or last minute changes to routes, this data is always live and always up to date.
Accurate information even during during events like the Fringe and Womadelaide, roadworks or other traffic restrictions.
Now with Google maps integration for locating nearby stops and showing location of buses.
Never carry another timetable again.
This will ONLY work for Adelaide Metro buses, trains and trams.
It provides real-time information - live!
WhereDaBus is designed by someone who uses Adelaide metro public transport every day.
The idea behind whereDaBus is to only show the buses, train and trams YOU need when YOU need them.
You can set 2 default stops, AM and PM.
When you start whereDaBus it will automatically go to your default - before midday the AM default and after midday the PM default.
No clicking through options, just YOUR timetable YOUR way.
A clean and simple interface. Just hit search icon and start typing to find stops or tap the map icon and select off a map.
Any stops are saved automatically for quick access anytime.
A tap on the arrivals allows filtering route numbers - you can even set an alarm to alert you when your bus is near your stop!

I accidentally did an upgrade and of course lost all my book marked stops again which is really annoying. I think search for stops has improved but I dont like the new much smaller font size of bus displays. I would prefer to scroll down when I am at a main bus stop in the city to find my bus on the list than have the displays smaller. I have been using this app for many years and always recommend it to people over the Adelaide Metro version.

App stopped working for me after the Android 11 update. Contacted the Dev who got back to me within a few hours, then went through working out what the issue was and formulated an update. This is a simple, yet very good app that shows me what I need - when the bus comes to my stop, and if it's late or not. Nothing fancy like trip planning, etc. The support is excellent, and if you are after a simple public transport app for Adelaide, I can't recommend this highly enough.

The most accurate app for public transport in Adelaide! I have used it for ages and the latest updates have made it extra slick & professional. Google maps does not have real time updates, and the official Metro app thinks i need 10 mins to cross the road, but this app lets me know to the second how far away my connecting bus is. Designed for use alongside Gmaps or Metro app & worth it's weight in gold: my morning commute would take 20 minutes longer if i believed Gmaps & Metro! Thanks dev!

Regretting I updated this app. All my stops history has been lost, default stop is the one I never use, no way to change it Update. Thank you for your reply but if I don't like updated version it is no reason to be rude!!! Update #2 I used this app for many years, I never reviewed it but it was acceptable to use with no much problems. Delete the app or not is only my personal decision...I am looking forward to better corrected update that will give me the reason to change rating.

Generally useful app and provides accurate data, however lost a star because it doesn't load information while using WiFi, must switch to mobile data only to see bus times. Have tried reinstalling app and used many different WiFi connections in various places. Partner experiences the same issue on a brand new phone as well

Great app One issue though, it reset my saved stops and wiped them all. I've had this app for a long time and this is the first time I've had an issue, so it's still really great, I just have to re-save ALL of my saved stops.
