Lords & Knights is a free to play medieval strategy MMO. At first you take control of one castle and its knights. As time goes by, you can expand your realm all the way to an empire with the right tactic. Conquer the cities of your enemies and become the most powerful ruler of the Middle Ages.

Recruit several medieval units like knights and foot soldiers. Lead them into battle against other lords with the right strategy and tactics, so you can strike them unexpectedly, or send them on lucrative missions. Among these missions, you will find adventures such as driving off robbers, taking part in a joust or hold a castle festival in honor of your.
Construction and development of your castles into massive fortresses!
Improve your simple starting castle all the way to a powerful fortress right in the Middle Ages. You can stock up on resources for the war in your keep, while you are coming up with strategies for the upcoming battles. Strengthen your armies by improving your armory and researching new technologies. Improve the defense of your realm by erecting fortifications or improve your resource production. Tactics are an important part of the creation of your defense and you decide on them as the king!
An alliance system that facilitates joint conquest!
Found an alliance or join an existing one, in order to plan the strategy and construction of your medieval empire with hundreds of other players. You can forge non-aggression treaties and create alliances with other alliances or march into the age of war together. You can take on different roles within these alliances, for example that of the minister of war or of defense and exchange information with your friends and other lords in the forum and the live alliance chat.
Peaceful realm or warlike empire!
Interact with other lords in order to plan attacks or set up your defense. You can support them with armies and resources. Defend each other´s throne and life in the castle! Should diplomacy fail, another solution would be a well-planned war of conquest with numerous attacks on enemy cities. Send out your armies and plunder the resources of your enemy or assault his fortifications, occupy his castle and make it a part of your empire and expand your realm. Make sure that your most hated enemy won’t remain a king for long!

I was actually looking for "Crazy Tribes" the post apocalyptic version of this game as I remember playing it in 2014 or so.. but this is the exact same thing, but medieval skinned. Know what you're getting into: Pay2Win, strategy heavy, and a Time Taker. No I don't pay for anything, but sure get a dopamine rush from waiting 5 hours for my troops to arrive at a base miles away and seeing what troops survive - I guess I'm built different.

Below Average, Heavy P2W Elements. Been playing for two weeks now and this game attempts to get you to purchase their in game currency (gold) at every opportunity it can. You can purchase castles, forts, cities, resources, troops, etc. There is a way to make small amounts of gold in game through missions, but it is a negligible amount. The active player base is also low, meaning you will most likeky be forced into fighting players boosted by money. Good luck.

Game is great. Only problem, which is losing you two stars, is that after this update the game just crashes randomly while you're doing stuff. That's an issue we have not faced in years, and the fact that it's happening again is clearly the fault of the developers. Fix your issues please. Before you ask what device I'm using, it's every device I'm using. New and old. It is not a device issue, it's a code issue.

Used to be a great game. Now the devs have turned it in to a pay to win cash grab. Every new server is destroyed by the alliances with the biggest wallets, and there is nothing you can do to counter it but spend money. Do yourself a favor, and don't even bother getting into it at this point. I might come back if there were a 24hr lock on purchasing player spawned habitats and the ability to superpower level up an alt with gold through alliance help.

Great game; however, the latest overhaul has made the already time
consuming game longer and more frustrating to play. This goes beyond the
normal learning curve of a new layout. A new layout should be more
intuitive and faster to navigate. This update has proven to be less
intuitive than when I first began the game 3 years ago and slower to
navigate. If I weren't so addicted, I'd quit the game all together. For
now, I'll wait a reasonable time for updates in navigation and layout.

Ive quit the game. The only thing that would bring back is a subscription model only server, where everyone is at a level playing field. A server where people can't win by spending - they buy castles and forts. Buying of castles and forts ruined the game. Money used to only help with instant troops. in addition, 1 subscription per account would eliminate extreme bots and alternate account abuse. Id pay $9.99 a month to know that everyone on the server was a real person,
