The gap between "beginner" and "intermediate" opponents seems kinda wide but I don't, like, "binge" play so, if I played more I'm sure it wouldn't seem as dramatic. Overall, it's really good. Really cool for me right now because I don't know ANYONE with whom I can play a physical game with (in my current situation) *Maybe there could be some adjustments to the lighting because I've noticed that certain combinations of board/piece color are kinda hard to see.

Wonderful application if you want to learn how to play chess. The graphics are superb, the game can be played offline and you can take back a poor move if you make a mistake in your game play. There are no intrusive adds in the free version.

Great chess app! I really appreciate the feeling of each chess game as well as the graphics and overall physics. However I have had an issue with the ability to not move a piece in which I know would be legal too move. For example at times something as simple as moving a pawn forward or moving a knight. Would love to see this maybe looked over and fixed. Other than that it's a fun app for chess. Also would love to see an online accessible version against other people!

You can play with different players on various levels. However, there were times that the software wouldn't recognize the move that I tapped on; which forced me to make an entirely different move than I would have wanted to make. Also, it is often difficult to work in 3D, & see the pieces clearly; especially, the black pieces. The size of the board & the angle often needs to be adjusted during the game, to see the pieces more clearly. Aside from the issues I described, it is an enjoyable app.

This is one of the better chess games I've played. The graphics are excellent, although a little dark when playing in daylight. My only reasons for not awarding more stars are because (like most chess games tbh) the difficulty is either too easy or far too hard far too quickly. Maybe that's just me. My other gripe is that the game will decide a game a draw far too often when the engine is totally defeated, instead of a resignation. Good for occasional games though.

AMAZING tournament game. But is broken as hell sometimes. Playing in tournament mode and opponent is frozen on the first move... forced me to resign to get to the next game. The next game opponent is thinking 5 minutes straight on the first move again. Also "access to media files is required" shows up when trying to upload a profile photo. Although all permissions are enabled....
